Welcome to the website of the Wigan and District Junior Cricket League.
Our member clubs are drawn form senior teams that play within the Metropolitan boroughs of Wigan and St Helens.
The member clubs senior teams play in a variety of senior leagues including the Liverpool Comp, Manchester Association,West Lancashire cricket League and SADCL.
The junior league ensures a supply of quality, accessible cricket within easy reach for the areas youngsters.

Wigan Cricket Development Group

The Group is made up of representatives from the area's senior cricket clubs* with the sole objective of developing cricket throughout the Wigan Borough.

We work closely with all aspects of the local cricket community including the clubs, players (boys and girls), schools (mainly Primary but also some work with High Schools), coaches and coach education, National Sporting Bodies, including Lancashire Cricket Board, and anyone interested in developing cricket, particularly around the Wigan area.
